Bay Kitchen
It was beyond time for this kitchen to have an upgrade. As the main cook and home brew master, the husband wanted a functional space that highlighted the gorgeous view and allowed him room to create and entertain.
For the wife, symmetry, and aesthetics were the main concerns. Both wanted the space to be welcoming to others and provide a gathering place for family and friends.
An unobstructed view was paramount for both, but the vent hood threatened to make that impossible. There was not enough room in the ceiling to recess the vent hood completely, so we added custom cabinet panels for a built-in look that sits above the new windows and preserves the view.
The bar features a third sink and the second dishwasher. The cabinets hide the coffee center on the left a 3 line tap on the right serves the client's home brew. The fridge has well-disguised, abundant storage space on each side.
